Manolis Mattheakis proposes a cuisine that refers indirectly to Crete but is also Greek in the broader sense. His dishes are characterized by harmony and deep flavors that "smell" Greece. The sunset from the terrace that hosts the restaurant is terrific. Try the celeriac soup; the fava with pickles and sweet beetroot; and the white eggplant cream with sweet wine jelly.
