Alpha Guide's evaluation
A hotel that is a destination in itself and sufficient reason to travel to the largest city of Etoloakarnania. On the central Papastratou street, a breath away from the park, it shares a wonderfully restored listed building of 1928 and a new building. Design decorative attitude in the beautiful lobby, which is evident in the rooms too: the executive rooms in the new building are more comfortable, the standard ones in the old building are more atmospheric, all with open closets, Simmons mattresses and wooden furniture in Swedish neo-retro style. Downstairs, the all-day “Bistro17” is already a meeting point of the city, while a separate entrance leads to the fully equipped “9 Limnes Hammam & Spa”.
