The oldest and most famous taverna of the village. In the large high-ceilinged room, with two fireplaces and loft, you will taste authentic dishes of the local cuisine from the hands of Mrs. Stella: pie with herbs, black-eyed beans with greens, “koloutholachana” (stewed courgette flowers), rooster in wine sauce, stuffed cabbage rolls, lamb fricassee and meat grilled to order skillfully by Panayiotis Kaplanis. For dessert, ask for the sweet pumpkin pie with grape juice syrup. In summer it serves under the trees.
