This small, rustic, lovely taverna, which is built in the recess of a large rock beneath the old city walls, is a classic dining option in the city. In the summer it serves on a balcony that looks out on the plain. Try yiaprakia (stuffed cabbage rolls) with egg-lemon sauce, lamb with eggplants and wild boar with quinces. You will also find charcoal-grilled meat and several appetizers. The pork comes from animals that they breed themselves and the wines are from the region of Naoussa.
