The Alpha Guide review

It is one of the most famous restaurants in Mykonos and has been in the hands of the same family for 45 years now. It has seen days of glory, of course, and has acquired international recognition. It continues its course to date, offering a classic international and Greek cuisine and consistently serving a timeless profile that is hard to find elsewhere: white starched tablecloth, and, on the table, dishes such as fish a la Meuniere, ossobuco, chateaubriand with bearnaise sauce, and also stuffed cabbage rolls with egg-lemon sauce, spinach pie and stuffed zucchini blossoms. Its small dining hall is on the ground floor of an old house, and a few tables are set outside, on the narrow alley with the bougainvilleas, near the promenade. Efficient service. Nothing prepares you for the steep prices except the old socialites that seat around its tables.
