In this small, culinary jewel that is tucked away in a seaside village near Ierapetra, Chef Konstantina Voulgaris-Kontesopoulou does a commendable job. Sometimes starting from the excellent raw materials and traditions of Crete, and sometimes with references to the wider Greek territory, her dishes, such as the delicious grouper in a crust of nuts, with browned blites with cumquat and celery, and the roasted lamb with thyme and sea salt in roasted potato crumbs, are particularly expressive. Greek Cuisine Award 2018.
