In the last few years, the modernist look of Andreas Diakodimitris, Gregoris Helmis, and Thanassis Tsaloglou into the classic bout of tsipouro drinking in Volos resulted in the creation of the excellent, wonderful tsipouro bar named “MeZen”. The connoisseurs of the society of Volos have made it their hangout. We singled out the velvety, slightly sour taramosalata, the dried mackerel salad with dill, the potato salad with fried sardine bones, the fried cod with beetroot dip, and the silky grilled octopus.
